Stole a lead here but with Patera in net, despite how he's started, the wheels could fall off at any moment.

He isn't bad, but does our goalie have to give up a cheap goal every game?

Solid start by Patera with 27 saves but then 3 goals in 9 shots. And at least 2 he should have had.

Not nearly consistent enough in these looks to see a future NHL goalie there when he's almost 25 already.

We haven't deserved this game but we definitely deserve at least two points from this road trip so they need a gut check here.

All 4 really should have been stopped. Terrible GWG allowed in the last game. The Panthers have a ton of shots but virtually zero high danger chances. Terrible performance all around today but even with average goaltending this is a 2-1 or 2-2 game at worst.

Good teams win on the road. Ergo, we're not very good. Too many guys just can't score and we give up far too many soft goals.

I didn't I woke up briefly and it was 19 shots to 2 and thought if the team won't wake up neither will I and went back to sleep.

Also I just noticed I somehow turned the Florida Panthers into the Carolina Hurricanes.... I really needed that Christmas Break
