Milano caught a wave of zeitgeist hysteria among a very homogeneous demographic on his way to becoming unduly canonized.

All I’m saying is it’s been 3 games. Let’s see how he does over a full season. Why do people get so butt hurt about waiting to see. Milano has still proven nothing.

I think once things normalize, Milano will be a solid 15-20 goal 40-50 point player. More important, I think he will compete when he doesn't have the puck - board battles etc. and defensively responsible. In other words, play within the team's vision.

I don't really expect this team to try to develop saviors in the Nash/Zherdev/Filatov mold. I think they will build a team where each guy plays his role.
