So Theodore is scratched. Being punished for that turnover that led to a Nashville goal last night?

It looks like Gallant bases playing time on performance, not on potential (see Shipachyov) or previous flashes of brilliance. Coach G can do this when he assesses veteran players. I imagine, however, that he will need more patience when playing rookies and younger players.

In contrast, the Pens couldn't bench D-man Letang without controversy no matter how poorly he has been playing. (Trust me, there are too many Pens fans who hope he is sent down for a long, long time.)

I watch a lot of different sports. Right now this team plays like a collective unit with the same goal better than any team I've seen.

They battle every Game win or lose. Such awesome scoring balance. Goalies stepping up. Great coach and GM. Best story in sports.
