I hate this strategy of winning the face off and then just doing the old dump and chase. We did it three times 6 on 5. We work hard to get control of the puck and then basically have to out hustle the Caps to gain control again.

Played well enough to win. We got dominated for stretches but we also dominated for stretches. They're just the better team and converted on their opportunities. Some huuugggeee defensive zone failures that lead to goals. 9-18-77 played great and is our only line but WTF was Panarin thinking? Even if he thought he saw the puck go in he should tap it in for certainty. Absolutely insane.
