i respect you for being able to be honest on your opinions. and ill follow suit.. TT may not be NHL ready. i think that he has promise but needs to get a little more experience.. lets get Blais and BBshv and megan in this line up for now until Steen is back and deal with the lines then

I think he'd be better off if he had more support. But Sundqvist is a 4th liner and Paajarvi is a 3/4 tweener. Give him Steen and Sobotka when everyone is healthy, and he'd be better off. Right now, that line is a mess, and can't support rookie mistakes and being only almost ready.

Hey what was our 3rd PK duo? Stastny - Sobotka or Schwartz?

These were another PK duo what Yeo used.

Brodziak - Upshall
Sundqvist - Pääjärvi

Brodziak - Upshall played mosst PK icetime, after seeing Upshall perfromance I'm fine him playing 4th line spot and be PK specialist.

Sundqvist and Pääjärvi are both 'meh'.

Out of town and missed the game. Outshot 40-20? Did we get dominated and Jake stole it?

Score effect. Most shots weren't in dangerous areas, just Dallas trying to get something going. Jake had 1 spectacular save and was pretty good otherwise, but not outstanding.

Not really. Allen was strong, but I wouldn't call it a steal.

Ugly hockey for the first 10 minutes where neither side did much of anything, then the Blues converted some nice opportunities.

Blues sat back a bit after that, but Dallas only generated a few true scoring chances. Mostly non-threatening perimeter stuff in the zone, and almost nothing off the rush. Not even sure if they had a dangerous odd-man break in the entire game.

Blues earned that win as a team.

Except for Thorburn. That guy is a bum.

Schenn has looked very good at centre in these first 2 games. Schwartz and Schenn have really good chemistry. The Blues will have 2 good scoring lines with Stastny and Tarasenko on the other. Now, opponents won't be able to key on Tarasenko, and shut The Blues down. Thompson looks okay for a rookie. But, I'd rather see him go down to The Rampage when Steen returns. He needs to be stronger and more experienced in the pro game, to really be effective in The NHL game. Next summer, both he, and Sanford , need to work extremely hard in the weight room. Both need to be a LOT stronger. I'd like to see Blais up in his place.

no, got 3 goal lead in the 1st, then played pretty even the second but Dallas had 3 PPs, mostly perimeter shots, Tarasenko netted a PP goal in the third to make it 4-1 and the Blues went turtle mode.

Not really. The Blues just got ahead 3-0 early in 1st, and also led 4-1. The Stars didn't have more good chances than The Blues. Allen did play well. Schenn and Schwartz played very well. Pietrangelo and Edmundson played well, again, as did Parayko.

Key to the game, Blues won 53% of the face-offs, HUGE!

Mid of 2nd period Dallas was winning faceoff dot 60-40, so we dominate last 30min in faceoff circle. I think we'd 5-6 faceoff in d-zone in last 3min of game. We know that referees favor defensive team.

I still don't like that we've to play Sobotka in winger spot. He should play 3rd line center spot. Sundqvist out, but question who'll take 1st line LW spot? Pääjärvi, Thompson, Blais?

I loved Petro’s response about if he looked at Hitch. A quick simple response of, “NOPE” was beautiful.

Barbashev should be played at wing, and Sobtka at 3rd Line centre. Blais should be brought up. Thompson should be sent down to San Antonio.

MPS-Sundqvist-Thompson line needs to be gone. They do nothing. Have absolutely no positive impact on the game.

Rest of the team looks good. Dmen are very aggressive in the offensive zone which is nice. Petro is playing lights out.

Brayden Schenn is a great addition. He’s all over the puck and has enough skill to be productive. Very impressed.

Dallas looks decent, but far from the world beaters people are trying to make them out to be. They weren’t particularly impressive last night against Vegas and played a pretty poor game tonight too. They’re going to need Bishop to be great because they give up a lot defensively.

I agree, losing Steen and Fabbri really change the look of the top 6, but with the defense scoring so much it's covering any and all holes, but the top two lines haven't looked bad as is...
