Will Toronto make big adjustments to the D pairs on Saturday?
If I’m Babcock I’m putting Rielly and Gardiner on the top line and play them for 30 mins. Right now Boston is taking advantage because Hainsey is slow as molasses and so is Polak.
I’d contain the slow and suck to one bottom pairing.
Gardiner-Rielly (Rielly has more experience on right side)
Dermott-Zaitsev
Polak-Hainsey.
In an ideal world, Polak wouldn’t even be in the lineup. He’s apparently in it for his PK abilities which were on full display tonight. I’d rather have Carrick in there.
