I think that is bull crap they never gave the kid a fare shot. Playing 5 minutes a game with the worst players i have ever seen. Keep him up and play him with some decent players see what he can do.

Giving an 18 year old kid a roster spot on the NHL isn't giving him a shot? Where in the lineup would you expect him to play? He's not going to log 15 minutes of ice in a checking capacity, so why not put him in a place where he wont have his confidence shot?
