The deadline for free agent offers will be Friday, June 29th, at midnight EST.

If you have not yet begun negotiations (i.e. sent an offer) with a pending UNRESTRICTED free agent, keep in mind there is no guarantee you will get an opportunity to make three offers before the player test free agency. Those that have engaged in negotiations already, should have sufficient time.

Also, you may now begin sending in qualifying offers for your pending RFA's. Keep in mind these must be one year offers and can be done in addition to longer term negotations. In fact, keep in mind a QO is required to retain the players rights, so even though you might have made a long term offer for more than the QO offer rate would be, you still must make the QO in order to retain their rights.

QO's are current salary + 10% for players making below the league average and for those making above, the offer must be the same (and again, only a 1 year offer).

Anyone know what the adjusted average salary is in the HFNHL now? Would it simply be the total of all team cap amounts divided by 30 teams and then divided again 21 players?

Not to rip myself off, but the contracts you show for Lombardi and Bourque are not correct. (Should be higher) :)

Got a little quick with the cut'n paste and missed those last updates (which would be updated next time around). A few others have been updated as well. Nice catch Greg - thanks!

It's gonna be one quiet FA period...

Thanks for working through all those offers, Reggie - it can't have been fun...

The All-Free Agent team still looks like a decent Stanley Cup Contender, but that obviously doesn't mean it's a bumper crop. But still, a few high end guys and several middle tier (2nd liners, 2nd pairing d-men).

At least at this point, as a few teams still might submit a few more offers at the last minute.

So when willl the list with free agents be available? I am really looking forward to that, though I am not sure if I can afford to sign anyone.

Theres a list on the Yahoo group page although it hasn't been completely updated to reflect the more recent signings.

So it seems like the big names of this years free agency will include names such as Bryan McCabe, Kim Johnsson, Martin Rucinsky, Martin St Louis, Martin Straka and Olof Kolzig. Will anyone get such money as Hossa, Jagr and Zetterberg got last year?

After seeing what your team did last season with signing of Hossa and Boucher, I am sure there are lot of GM (including myself) out there willing to pay top dollars to acquire talent.
