Ok folks, as promised ...

It has been agreed that we will allow European born players over the age of 22 to be signed in the HFNHL as long as that player is playing in a North American League at the time.
No "I heard he might be coming over" arguments will be allowed.
This condition is simply to prevent teams from signing guys that they don't really have to pay and having the player moved to their prospect list b/c they are in Europe.

This change will take effect with this summers UFA period and for this first time around will follow the same bid review process we use for all UFA's and players just coming out of the NCAA.
After the free agency period is concluded any future offers will go through the usual best offer in 48 hours approach.

As this does not take effect until at least July all European born players regardless of age will remain draft eligible for this June draft and will be reduced to 22 years of age or younger in future years.
