The only time I've won a prize from the Ducks, this was like 3 or 4 years ago when they did some weird quiz contest, I won and was supposed to get a signed Beauch puck. I got a signed Beauch photo instead, I wasn't upset, I was just happy to have the first and only thing signed by a Ducks player. Will miss you Beauch

Thanks beauch! Sorry for the way this franchise treated you at times, but glad you got to play your final season at home.

If Beauchemin fought a dude, demolished a guy, or blasted in a goal, you better believe my group was shouting "BEAUCH! BEAUCH! BEAUCH!" Amazing Duck.

Hope he takes a job with Marchant and nieds
I believe he has already stated he's following Jiggy's path back to somewhere in Quebec. Presumably "home" for him. I've been wanting Jiggy back since he retired. I'd take Frankie too but it sounds like neither want to live here full time.

Thanks for everything Francois. If someone ever mentions ''locker room and veteran presence'', I might be sceptic but Beauch is the one I don`t question about it.
Sad that his last year ended like it did, but I`m happy he was at least around Monty, Pettersson and Welinski. His footspeed wasn`t up with the best skaters in the league, but he was always doing his best.

7th in skaters Franchise games played (2 short of #6 Salei). 2nd among defensemen

1st among Franchise D in shots (984)
2nd among Franchise D in games played(592) (7th among skaters)
2nd among Franchise D in goals (56)
3d among Franchise D in points (196)
3d among Franchise D in assists (140)

Playoffs:
1st among Franchise D in games (100), goals (10), assists (29), points (39), shots (164)
Among skaters accordingly games 3d, goals 10th, assists 4ht, points 5th, shots 4th

Ice time leader in our 2007 run. Was never a superstar but an amazing career, and amazing character.

Hell of a career for Beauch, probably has enough to play another year in the league but obviously wants to go out on his own terms. Hopefully he finds his way back to Anaheim one day.

one of my all time favorite ducks

came here as a no-name in the fedorov trade and retires top 3 in ducks history in pretty much every category for d-men. glad he got to retire a duck and i really hope he stays with the organization in some capacity

i'll never forget his fight with iginla in the 06 QF. that was pretty much the spark that ignited that team and saw them reach the WCF

At this point a top 5 Dman in franchise history. Maybe even too 3.
I'd actually go as far to say definitely top 3, and maybe top 2. Pronger was great but wasn't here long.

Only dman I'd have ahead of him comfortably is Niedermayer. Fowler/Lindholm have a chance to pass Beauch but aren't there yet

Yeah I guess is depends on how much peak is valued compared to longevity.

In terms of best seasons by each Ducks Dman (only allowing each Dman to be on the list once) I rate his 4th. I don’t think anyone is really close to those 4 seasons.

Nieds 05/06
Pronger 06/07
Visnovsky 10/11
Beauchemin 12/13

Agreed, I think some people might say Needs' 06/07 was better than Beauch 2012-2013 but thats splitting hairs

Thanks Beauchemin. Hope he comes back to Anaheim every so often like Jiggy. A favorite duck for me.

While I wasn't always a fan of his play this year, I'm so glad they were able to bring him back to finish his career in a Ducks sweater. I'd love it if he found some way to keep a connection to the team.

I'd say Beauchemin is the best defenseman to ever play for this franchise, that people will remember as a Duck. For most people, Niedermayer will always be Devil, Pronger a Bluenote and Lubo a King.

Thanks for everything!

not to mention he spent 10 seasons with the ducks

niedermayer was with the ducks for 5, pronger 3, and visnovsky 2.5

One of my favorites ever. We should have a ceremony for him. Not a jersey retirement but an honored number for sure.
