i'm not a veteran out there but i guess when théodore, jovanovski...were prospects, internet wasn't as use as today. it is more than 10 years ago for some you named.

i hope i'm reading the question right.

    >> Ilya Kovalchuk-Superstar
    >> Mike Fisher-Good role player, could crack top 6 this year
    >> José Théodore-#1 star goalie
    >> Miika Kiprussof-#1 star goalie
    >> David Aebischer-#1 goalie
    >> Jarome Iginla-Superstar
    >> Ed Jovanovski-#1 defenseman
    >> Simon Gagné-Debatable, but i say decent 1st liner, very good 2nd liner
    >> Tuomo Ruutu-up and coming star
    >> Henrik Zetterberg-up and coming star

As for ranking them(if that is what you wanted)
    Jarome Iginla
    Ilya Kovalchuk
    José Théodore
    Miika Kiprussof
    Tuomo Ruutu
    Henrik Zetterberg
    Ed Jovanovski
    Simon Gagné
    David Aebischer
    Mike Fisher

    hope that answers your question.

Some of the players could still be in the database. I'm not sure, but I think that writes for this place can look them up.

he wants to know when these players were prospects many years ago - what there rankings were.....like a 7 or an 8 etc.

as for Zetterberg..i think he was around 6 at the time on HF
