There's a Tuukka Rask to Mika Noronen or Ari Ahonen comparison.

Fact? No.

But it is a card that can be played if others choose to ignore the fact that Pogge carried Team Canada and was the MVP of the Canadian Hockey League for a reason.

Jeff Glass is a good goalie, but in terms of talent he, rather, very few stand up against Justin Pogge. He's not a phenom, but he does belong up there with almost any goaltending prospect.

He's possibly the best "square-up" goaltending prospect there is, also easily one of the best stickhandling goalies you'll see, he's up there with Martin Brodeur in that department. As well as a great glovehand and a proven winner, since he carried Canada to a Gold in a year where they weren't supposed to win it. He's also very quick, there's a quote from a goaltending coach that compares his quickness to Marc-Andre Fleury.

I remember the day of the draft, a member on here that had watched Pogge play almost every game in Prince George compared his style of play to Martin Brodeur, and he's been proven correct. They're very similar.
