Yes, and with the 24% rollback, the League could afford the accents at the tops of the letters.

Unless you have a super word processor that can write diagonally, I don't think knowing the font would help you anyway.

Yeah... who needs a font anyway? It's just 3 letters, I'm sure they just added the accent's themselves, whoever made it for em'.

I think Scugs is likely right. Other than the wedge-like serifs, the typeface is pretty nondescript. I would guess the designing modified a standard font and added the wedges to complement the bottom-to-top flow.

I doubt a complete font exists. If it did, you would think the NHL would use it somewhere other than the logo.

You could always try asking on the message boards at Font-Finder.com or on the Usenet at comp.fonts.
