If I've learned anything this year, it's that a win is a win, nothing more. I place absolutely zero merit in the context of the win. It simply doesn't matter who the opponent is/was that night. We've proven to be more efficient in our ability to come back and play better after tough losses versus building momentum and stringing together wins. A 3-2 win versus Toronto doesn't mean anything going into Thursday vs Montreal as far as momentum. We could see a completely different game from the Panthers.
@ Toronto: 3-2 W
We were able to take advantage of a free-falling TML's team with no juice.
@ Montréal:
MTL's 7-2-1 in their last 10. No way around it, gonna be tough.
@ Ottawa:
OTT's barn is a tough place to play for us historically. They're 4-5-1 in their last 10.
@ Pittsburgh:
PIT is not in a great funk right now, but still competitive every night. 5-4-1 in their last 10.
@ Chicago:
Ugh.
THEN
VS Chicago:
I repeat, ugh.
