Hearing Philadelphia as well from both Buffalo beat writers, Vogl and Hamilton.

Calgary's problem lie in their own ability to play hard for all 60-minutes

Dont see how giving up major assets for Kane pushes them any further but he definitely would make them a better team

Naw... It just seems that way, because the Flames have 3 or 4 forwards that are dead weight. The Flames definitely need more scoring threats. They're getting back Versteeg. One more 60 point guy is what they need. Not sure Kane is that guy though. Calgary also can't afford to give up many more futures.

Interesting what we’d be looking at. We have a couple top notch prospects, would think Fox is going the other way if we are going for someone like Reinhart or Kane.

No idea what Calgary could even offer, they've sold so many futures in the Hamilton/Hamonic trades.
Bennett ++ or something would be the closest I'd imagine.

Interesting only insofar as it's not apparent to me exactly where he fits in; LW depth is not exactly priority #1 at this point.

I don't see the need and, with further consideration for what Buffalo will likely be looking for in futures, really hoping that we're not in on Kane specifically.

Philly is most definitely interested. Not enough for the asking price though.
Philly has wingers in the AHL that can fill a bottom 6 role too.
Most likely not giving up top D prospect and a high pick for someone we may not resign.
