I really hope not. We don't have enough quality future picks/prospects after the Hamonic and Smith trades to be trading any away. Also, we aren't a second line winger away from contending... we might not even make the playoffs...

Not in favour of this generally. I am open to the idea of it but in actuality I think it would be pretty bad lol.

Naw... It just seems that way, because the Flames have 3 or 4 forwards that are dead weight. The Flames definitely need more scoring threats. They're getting back Versteeg. One more 60 point guy is what they need. Not sure Kane is that guy though. Calgary also can't afford to give up many more futures.

Calgary is loaded with defence and D prospects. Bennett isn't going anywhere.
Interesting only insofar as it's not apparent to me exactly where he fits in; LW depth is not exactly priority #1 at this point.

Philly is most definitely interested. Not enough for the asking price though.
Philly has wingers in the AHL that can fill a bottom 6 role too.
Most likely not giving up top D prospect and a high pick for someone we may not resign.
