Finns are fine. Not on Canada, USA, Russia level but safely ahead of Czechia, Swiss, Sweden, Germany etc.

Raty was a potential #1 pick at a time who's done well sense. Kiviharju mignt still go top 3. Vinni is the top goalie since Wallstedt and Helenius & Vaisanen might go top 10. That's pretty good.

2023 might be weak for Finland, but 2024 is very strong. (Even then, there's some depth guys I like this draft out of Finland as well)

Finnish hockey is in clear decline. Lost in quarter finals in every IIHF tournament this season. 2023 draft looking like the worst draft in a long time. Finland is EVEN WORSE THAN SWEDEN AINEC!!!

Vinni the top goalie since Wallstedt, how on earth? His stats even are worse than last season's stats, and Rimpinen has far outperformed him on every level.

Yeah. Vinni's stats suck this season and he looked bad at U18s. Nobody should think of him as a "top goalie" prospect.

I read a Czech interview with Kapanan (Dad) and he said that they lost in quarters in all 3 events this year. I was surprised by that. Just so used to seeing them in semi's and medal matches. Obviuosly, not on the decline but found it strange.

Vinni the top goalie prospect since Wallstedt? He's not even the top goalie prospect in Finland. I'd easily take Ratzlaff and Augustine over him too.
