For some reason my thread disappeared, I haven't gotten any feedback.

Here goes again..

Who stays and who leaves?

Will JJ even consider NHLers? I would love FBJ to come and captain this team!

Goalkeepers:
29 Harri Säteri, EHC Biel, NLA
30 Lassi Lehtinen, MoDo Hockey, SHL
35 Markus Ruusu, Jukurit Mikkeli

Defenders:
2 Rasmus Rissanen, Örebro HK, SHL
7 Oliwer Kaski, HV71, SHL
18 Vili Saarijärvi, SCL Tigers, NLA
23 Otto Latvala, Ilves Tampere
28 Tobias Winberg, JYP Jyväskylä
41 Aleksi Matinmikko, Ässät Pori
47 Atro Leppänen, Sport, Vaasa
50 Juuso Riikola, SCL Tigers, NLA
61 Axel Rindell, Timrå IK, SHL

Forwards:
15 Juha Jääskä, HIFK Helsinki
19 Konsta Helenius, Jukurit Mikkeli
20 Sampo Ranta, MoDo Hockey, SHL
21 Patrik Puistola, Jukurit Mikkeli
22 Viljami Marjala, TPS Turku
24 Hannes Björninen, Örebro HK, SHL
25 Pekka Jormakka, Jukurit Mikkeli
27 Janne Kuokkanen, Malmö Redhawks, SHL
37 Eemil Erholtz, Ässät Pori
39 Sebastian Repo, Lukko Rauma
46 Joona Luoto, SC Bern, NLA
48 Lauri Pajuniemi, Malmö Redhawks, SHL
51 Markus Nurmi, TPS Turku
62 Julius Mattila, Lukko Rauma
71 Ahti Oksanen, IK Oskarshamn, SHL
80 Saku Mäenalanen, SCL Tigers, NLA
81 Iiro Pakarinen, HIFK Helsinki

I for one do not care that we have so few options in his role - Kaski needs to go. He can never get clear shots on the national team because of very specific instructions on how to play.

For role players I do like Kuokkanen, Björninen, Mäenalanen and Pakarinen.

Oksanen could go top-9. I feel he will start producing in the national team very soon. Helenius looks very ready too.

You gotta read. You got feedback in the last thread that there already was a thread for "Finland 2024 roster talk" just a few subjects down on this page. You can put this post there if you like.

Edit: Infact it is already put there by Mods I guess.

There was one for the juniors, not one for the Champs.

Feedback from a mod removing a thread would have kept me from spamming. But I guess it is a bit different from my days pf moderating.

Jokiharju confirmed that he won't play without a contract.
In other news, water is wet. A contractless player showing up is more of a pleasant surprise than anything anyone should seriously count on.

Right now, our best bets seem to be MiG, Maccelli, Määttä and Armia. Sorry, couldn't think of a nickname that begins with the letter "M" for the last one. Wonder if it's grounds for declination?

Armia seemed to really enjoy himself last time, I think he will come!

Bit worrying results vs Sweden and Latvia. None of our forwards can score any goals and the defense is leaky.

Why are Leppänen and Riikola playing PK when he have whole Europe full of better d man for that role?

There does seem to be scoring roles saved up for either NHLers or guys still duking it out for championships in Europe to be honest. I don't believe JJ thinks Konsta is ready to carry the first line yet. Many role players and middle sixers on this team right now.
