The final Russian roster is up at the iihf web site.
Good f*****g lord, what in the world is Tikhonov thinking?
No Frolov, Afinogenov or Mozyakin? Stiffs like Skugarev and Bashkirov made the team.

Well as soon as i will see russian team play i will make my opinion about this...It was said that frolov has some injury ,mozyakin was hurt not long ago and maybe he is not ready for hard battles because i have a filling tihonov likes him...I dont know about Afinogenov...
As i said as soon as i see what chemistry the team has i will make decision if tihonov belongs to history or the old master is back...
Otherwise i dont blow these big names stuff..We all witness WC 2000 in Russia...If those names were out beacuse of some I AM BIG NHL STAR WHO EARNS MORE THAN U ,****, then i dont want to see them also

Well, I don't really care... I'll just be glad to see Ovechkin and Kovalchuk play again...

I see that both Fedorov's aren't playing. I'd think they both declined offers.

    He is allowed.
But once he crosses in Europe, the Russians will kidnap him and never give him back.

    He's safe in the US/Canada.

Frolov is injured; otherwise he'd be on the team. Kovalchuk played with a bad blister on his foot for a couple of months, but didn't want to sit the Worlds out. Source: Sovetskiy Sport.

Zinovjev got caught in a doping test. Weed. So he was sent home.
