Agreed. I wonder if there has ever been 2 teams, and 2 groups of fans that hated each other like the Habs and Nords. I don't think there ever has been, and I doubt there ever will be.

Mine would be Minnesota Boston, back in the days of the Adams division. I believe it started either just as or just before the puck dropped at the start of the game. It set the record for pms at the time.

It's a homer vote, but I remember this one from growing up a Bruins fan.

An honorable mention has to go the "tunnel brawl" between Boston and Montreal at the old Boston Garden. Visiting teams entered and exited past the Bruins' bench, and Chris Nilan set this one off.

Edit: Yes, I realize this wasn't a brawl so much as a single, very entertaining fight. It just sticks out to me.

Later in that game Coxe ko'd Kocur-not a bad night's work.
