Ranked him 141 in my final list. Must be other stuff because skill-wize he was one of the draft's most electrifying players.

Maybe he just wants to stay in Russia. If he tears it up again this year he'll get more exposure.

I think, Panarin should be a role model for young Russian hockey kids and not someone like Rubtsov or Kostin. You make the KHL first, become a solid starter or even a star, and then NHL teams will queue to sign you.

Sure, there are kids, who show a lot of skill and talent at pretty young age, like Ovi, Malkin or Svechnikov, but I'm talking about those, whose perspectives aren't as obvious.
