The player is fast, controls the puck well, maneuvers, and aims for a goal.
For a long time he was Ovcharov’s teammate in CSKA. Recently moved to Dynamo. Unlike his former teammate and namesake, who balances between the teams of 06 and 07, Gromakov shuttles between the team of 07 and his (08) year. However, I think that they are approximately equal in talent. Both are, perhaps, the “second echelon” of the Russian ’08 after the obvious leaders for this year, Fyodorov and Vlasov. If Fyodorov and Vlasov at this point in time can be considered as stable candidates for the first round, then Gromakov and Ovcharov will probably be closer to the second or third rounds, but they can, of course, catch up.
