Poker players I know eyes lit up whenever he sat down at their table, some pissed they weren't lucky enough to have been seated with him as they saw dollars signs the moment he entered the room.

I can't begin to imagine the losses he took playing world class players in Vegas, although I'm not sure if poker was ever his main game. He did dabble in it & stank. Won his fair share as well making calls with his limitless bank roll and as a result bad beating others with better hands.

People eyes might have lit up at the poker table, but they ran away if they were ever seated with him playing Blackjack.
