From jarmos interview after deadline sounds like this year we will focus on overseas free agents. Anyone hear any interest from cbj ?

Lots of exciting prospects overseas! Texier is prime example of this. Thought it would be fun to see what names we could drum up .

There are several players in EU and KHL who are rumored to coming over. I would say Ilya Mikheyev is player which evert club should target. Leads his team points, goals and assists. 62GP, 23+22. Oliwer Kaski (D), Pelicans, Liiga. Oliwer is another player that I'm very interested. His stocks have exploded this season. Great size, have some flaws in D-zone but should get chance. 52GP, 15+28 Ville Leskinen (F), Kärpät, Liiga. Ville is skating machine, awesome hands and great vision. Not sure will his style suit NA style. 52GP 24+25 There are also couple names i would mention in Liiga; Oula Palve, Teemu Turunen, Otto Leskinen. KHL players; Konstantin Okulov, Vladimir Tkachyov(that one Oilers try sign...), Andrei Kuzmenko. Oula Palve played with potential second overall pic Kaapo Kakko. Put up nice numbers as a center.

Samuel Bucek Extraliga's Playoff MVP despite loosing in the finals. Was better than a lot of drafted players in the world juniors. Had terrific game winner vs team USA video at surprised no one drafted this guy.
