I would like to personally thank Dean McAmmond for not retiring before October 1st, 2009. If you look at my projected fourth line, you'll know why I needed him to stick around.

Anyone know the status of Smolinski? Last I heard he had a tryout for the Admirals and was released...and this was after he coached some highschool hockey and played for Port Huron in the IHL...(Yikes)....

Hehe ... given my dmen exodus to Europe it's somewhat amusing that the one I had been expecting to go to Europe or retire (Malik) hasn't ... yet.

Sure ... now he heads to Europe after the October 1 deadline.

Some guys that should be removed:
-Karri Rämö is still on LA's roster even if he signed in Omsk(KHL) in June.

-Josef Boumedienne is still on TB's roster. He left for Europe last season.

-Olaf Kolzig and Mats Sundin both retired before the deadline and Marek Schwarz left for Europe last season. They should all be taken off Toronto's roster.

-Mikael Tellqvist left for KHL this summer and shoudl be taken off Buffalo's roster. Not sure how we should treat Maxime Ouellet who played for Poutrelles Delta Ste-Marie in the LNAH last season.

What a bust he was. If you backtrack things a bit, I think I gave up Kimmo Timonen for that "goalie of the future".
