Sens can do better than an overrated 2C who was only once cracked 50 points
LMFAO. Bo Horvat is a underrated low end #1 Center with huge upside and tremendous defensively. We’re not trading our #1 Center for a #1 dman in his prime with one year left, because by the time we can contend he’ll be old. Oh and if you think Horvat is an overrated #2 Center then GTFO as you have no idea what you’re talking about

Not at all a #1C in any sense of the meaning considering he was offensively sheltered by Sedin & defensively sheltered by Sutter. Try again when he's atleast put up 2-3 more seasons of solid 1st line play

Where's the rest of the Canucks offer?Do I have to input a snes cheat code or something to unlock it? No way in hell does an offer of just Horvat come close to acquiring the best d-man on the planet

Hahaha Lol. No. The only people that consider Horvat a #1C are Canucks fans and that's because they vastly overrate him (just look at your post).

Horvat is not that tremendous defensively. People think he is great defensively because of his reputation from chl that carried to the nhl. Also Canucks try groom him into an elite 2 way center. But if you watch him and if you look at his advance stats. There is nothing tremendous defensively about Horvat.

Horvat has very limited upside. He's basically Ryan Kesler - and a player like that doesn't get you a week of the best defenceman in the world.

What the heck are some Canuck fans smoking here... I take this deal and run like a bandit. Canuck can easily extend Karlsson with the cap space once we get him. Not often a #1 defensemen becomes available for the cheap haha.

What does offensively sheltered mean? Are you making up terms now? The Sedins were the two most sheltered players in the NHL this year.

Horvat was clearly the Canucks #1 centre this year and scored at a 28/28 pace and probably would have been around a 30/30 pace of Boeser didn’t miss the last 6 weeks of the year.

He scored at pretty much the same rate as Logan Couture, Ryan O’Reilly and Ryan Johansen at even strength.

He was absolutely elite at even strength in 2016/2017, he’s not a first liner but he’s trending in that direction.
