he's never ever left. Even during the 13-14 season, he summoned up his will to be the best dman at the Olympics. It seems like it takes a lot out of him to play at the level when he's physically not up to it.

He's certainly looking like himself offensively. Defensively he looks the same as he did at the start of the 14-15 season when Methot was injured and he was playing with Phillips and Cowen. It says a lot than he's played 29 minutes or more in five straight games - there was a stretch from November 10th to December 3rd where he only had over 26 minutes once in 11 games.

I think Erik will sign with Ottawa if they offer $11 mil, with over 60% of it in lockout-proof bonuses.

Will Eugene be willing to gamble on a smooth CBA ratification? I don't think he'd be willing to eat $6-8 million in a lockout.

Frankly, if I was in charge I would shut him down at the end of January so he can get an early start on offseason training. He looked so uncomfortable skating tonight (and basically has all season).

Karlsson is hurting the team this year. Easily responsible for at least 6 losses or more. Just terrible, terrible and if I were Melnyk and Dorion, how in the hell do you commit anything to a guy like this right now? Let's hope he recovers for next season, or else we are screwed
