Ellis or Smith ready for #2 spot in Dallas?

    I personally think Dallas should sign a veteran because if Turco went down with an injury I didn´t believe (Ellis or Smith) can handle the job!

    Ellis stock was falling over years and Smith I think is not that good!

    So what you guys think??

    Well, i've seen plenty of both over the years with Iowa, Hamilton, Houston.

    I give the nod to Mike Smith. He's a big athletic goaltender who is one of the best in terms of playing the puck. He's just gotten better and better every year.

    Smith should win this one despite not being as highly regaurded yet.
