Edmonton Oilers GM - Apology for Absence

Hello,

I am the (former, maybe) Edmonton Oilers GM, and I would like to apologize to the commissioners, simmers, and GMs here for my unexpected leave throughout July and half of August.

I am currently on a vacation overseas; however, I was busy in the countryside where Internet was not common, and I was also given news that my grandmother had passed away, and that I would need to take care of some of her funeral affairs. The previous month and this one have not been pleasant for me, but I know it would have been better to report to the commissioners about this.

I apologize once again for my long absence, but if I have been removed of my role as the GM of the Edmonton Oilers, I will accept the situation and move on. I have already sent a DM to Brock about this, but, of course, I wish I were able to do this sooner.

Sorry to hear that, Jay, I know that’s a tough situation to be thrown into. Condolences to the family. Hopefully the HFNHL can provide you with a welcome distraction as time permits.
