I think if they miss the payoffs we are going to have a new GM for the next year.
I can only hope that.
Bergy will try to save his ass i'm sure.

we need a few more losses in a row. Plus getting embarassed during the winter classic to really seal marcs fate

We're playing Ottawa, so I find it unlikely we'll get embarrassed in the Winter Classic. They're a worse squad than we are right now & have their own superstar issues with Karlsson trade rumours swirling. He's also been crap this year. Probably not fully healed from the off-season foot surgery.

Molson needs to find a new President before he fires our GM. Who the hell is going to do the interview process for the next guy if Bergevin is fired today?

Is Karlsson missing Methot?

Not all the Habs fans who can be able to be at the Bell Center. If you want to show well your anger there's the Complexe Bell Sportif that's the most appropriate place to go.

Preds are pretty cleaver with their chants... Not saying I would join in but one idea is to come up with a Fire Marc chant or bring posters to the game? Wonder how that would fly with the majority in the Bell center?

You just need large groups, LARGE. That's how Winnipeg used to carry on with their clever chants during the first two seasons there when they got the Jets back (kind of)... guys would all sit in the same area and people would just catch on to the loud-af, simple chants.

Protests are for important matters.
Agree !! Politics and social issues are more important. I would protest to make sure Davies employees don't lose their job, seniors at CHSLD have two baths a week, centers for beaten women don't close, equality for women-men, abused children, etc. There is a lot other issues protesters are needed. Hockey is entertaining. I would be embarrassed being filmed at the news protesting for hockey issue.

If people are so upset with Bergevin... start the chants. Not sure I have heard anything about this in a live game yet?

I just hope the next guy is better and we don't get a Gauthier. I say be careful with what you wish for and we have a bigger problem... our President. Is Molson going to interview our next possible GM's if Bergevin is fired?

The thing you guy's are missing is that we - the posters on this board - are the minority when it comes to Habs fans. With all the group think on this board there is actually a lot of delusion. This chant will not work. We represent 5% or less of the actual fan base. So if you start chanting Fire Marc at the Bell Centre thinking that every fan lives in this world, I guarantee you will just get a couple side eye's, no one will join you... It will be embarrassing especially since you could probably only afford family section tickets.

Basically, what you're saying is that only on this board are there people who are terribly disappointed, frustrated and angry about the poor structure of the team, the inability to properly fill out the roster, the inconsistency, the dubious trades, the nepotism, the incompetence...

I think it's much more likely that the blind sycophants are in the minority.

Is this sarcasm? If it is, have you been trolling us this whole time?

Most people I talk to about the Habs outside of HF all want Bergevin gone. Getting rid of three crowd favorites will do that.

They would probably escort you to the door, what the hell does it take MOLSON to realize Bergeven has destroyed this team.Price is completely disgusted and it shows. When the highest ever paid habs goalie doesn't even salute the fans after a victory it can't be any clearer. Please hire a true president of hockey operations to clean up this mess that your arrogant, ignorant gm has created.

It would need to be a coordinated effort, like at european games. All that singing and chanting doesn't just happen. They have a guy leading the chants and a designated section where they all sit. Once enough people start, the rest will follow, especially if it's an embarrassing blowout like against Edmonton or Toronto.

Wishing for Bergevin to get fired is not wishing for the next guy to come in to be Gauthier. Those are two entirely different decisions. Do not confuse or play scare tactics by connecting them together.

There are so many issues with this team, Molson being one, but that is mostly because he is incapable of properly evaluating his staff. That said, he can be pushed into a corner where he realizes, as a business man, that his brand is getting punched left and right. Sure, maybe they are still making some money, sold out or not, but at the end of the day, the bell center is less filled, the entertainment level has been decreasing, people are upset with not only the spectacle but the prices are insane, I doubt merchandizing is selling at good numbers compared to previous years. The image of the Habs is not a good one.
So, if Bergevin doesn't fix that, Molson will give him the boot at some point, hopefully sooner rather than later.

When that happens, well damn, Good on Molson. Maybe he will have learned something from this and do things better moving forward. At least the biggest cause for how our team has turned out will be out of this organization. That is the biggest problem.
