Poor Sid. Having to answer questions about urinals..
Yeah, I edited to say they are great but this was a hit and miss effort.
As I said they love ripping their own fans as much, but did not for some reason after game 2 this time. As an example here is last year when the Pens blew a 3-1 lead to lose game 6 to the Capitals:
And then even funnier once the Caps blew the comeback in game 7:
I will keep posting them as they are fun listens most of the time.
Whenever I see things like this I wonder, what would Patrick Roy say?
Reporter: Do you know your picture was place in urinals throughout the arena?
Roy: I can’t really hear what you’re saying over the sound of me peeing all over their hopes and dreams.
It's funny, because Sid loves to light it up in Philly and his stats are insane there. The more they boo him, the more amped up he gets to bury them on home ice. It's like they're making sure Crosby accomplishes that.
Maybe we Pens fans have it all wrong, maybe the boo's is just tough love from the greatest Sidney Crosby fans in the NHL, the Philadelphia Flyers home crowd.
Yo, you gotta hear when they rip the typical yinzer steeler fans, they go ham lol.
I thought their shows were on weekdays and game 2 was Friday night? .....That being said, every game has its own story and im sure game 4 will be a tight checking conservative game.
I hate these extra days off....
Damn I was looking forward to watching this one tonight...sucks there’s an extra day off
It's downright Pavlovian.
Yeah, chuckled myself. Facebook meltdowns are hilarious.
Just for fun:
No Couturier would be the final nail
Never believe practice injuries in the playoffs... the overly conservative caution coupled with over aggressive press coverage and gamesmanship from coaching staffs makes many a mountain out of a molehill...
Couturier injured by Gudas in practice. Waiting on status update.
Hornqvist our for pens. Huge blow for us. Hes a monster in the playoffs
We lost Hornqvist Flyers fans. So no big deal.
Why is Hornqvist out?
I hope Couts will be fine. We have new lines either way. Before Couts went down:
Giroux - Couts - Voracek
Konecny - Patrick - Simmonds
Raffl - Filppula - Weal
Lindblom out for weal.
Hmm. I think Couturier is a bigger loss to a depth-starved Flyers team than Hornqvist to the Pens, but we'll see if he's actually out. Both of them, actually. For all I know Sullivan could be playing and Hornqvist could be coaching.
So if Couts is out, I'm thinking we'll see something like
Hornqvist is so important to the Penguins. His netfront presence is irreplaceable. And his presence on the powerplay opens everything up. Big loss.
