Looks like the Flyers wont just drop down and die when they have decent goaltending.

Nice one Neuvirth Hoping for a game 7!

Good to see unpopular Filppula put 1+2 on the scoresheet and get the second star after Giroux

And the first A there was very nearly a turnover! But yeah, can't argue with that. It's not that he can't skate, pass, or square up (jury's out on the "shoot" part of that). It's that he can't make decisions, which is kind of important for top 6 centers in the NHL. Flanked by Giroux and Voracek, he doesn't really have to dictate play, though.

The shorthanded goal was a treat, very unexpected. Letang and Kessel played it horribly and Crosby was in controller disconnect during it.

Two wins in Pittsburgh is something Hakstol will very likely hang on his participation wall as one of his most glaring successes ever (just after growing the greatest beer ever)

He better remembers till tomorrow how we are 1-10 in 2 home play-off games against them and lights a fire under their asses.

Just hope we get refs that dont fall for that diving bullshit. It we get even refs for game 6 we stand a chance.

Crosby and Malkin have genuinely been embarrassing this series. Yet Horn was the only one penalised.

Yes, of course, the refs are the only thing that gives the Pens the edge in this series....

Seems like the consensus of Penguins fans, while annoyed, is “eh they’ve been outplaying the Flyers anyway, no way they lose 3 straight”

Remember how badly Philly outplayed the Penguins in Period 1 of Game 3? The difference being they couldn’t get one in the net, gave up the first goal and then crumbled. Well, if the Flyers can actually convert... they’ll blow the roof off WFC, and we might be seeing a Game 7.

And It’s a rivalry series. Weird things can tend to happen. 2-1 IN Pittsburgh is just hilarious.

You Pens fans will literally never hear the end of this from us if you actually choke and lose this series. Let’s hope it’s like the old Dan Bylsma days where your team lost 2 seperate series when up 3-1.

Just enjoying the W. I love the intense back and forth momentum swings like this.

The past 2 games it was all “Fire Hakstol, I hate hockey” from us Flyers fans.

Then last night happens, and while it still may be a long shot, there is hope, especially going back to Philly. Due to get a W over those clowns there.

Na the Flyers will be getting dicked down guaranteed and the Penguins will advance. I'm willing to put money on it with you if you want.

Neuvy, Neuvy, Neuvy, Oy! Oy! Oy!

And suddenly we have the momentum with absolutely nothing to lose and a chance to force a Game 7 against a supposedly superior dynasty-level team on our home ice.

Funny the way it is.

Actually it's kinda sad that you say you have nothing to lose when you play against your arch enemy.
Talk about great rivalries. :help:

Wow the Flyers win a big game and the lunatic fringe come out of the woodwork and begin a conspiracy narrative. This is why they shouldn't be successful. For reality's sake. I'm assuming the Philly broadcast are the ones drumming this officiating is favors Pittsburgh narrative. When one team dominates possession that team usually gets the calls. Watch the game. Think for yourself. Don't be embarrassing. Respect greatness.

We see Hakstol for at least one more game. Yay?
