A definite cheap shot that should cost him. I hate cheap shots even if one of my favorite players delivers it. Considering how crappy he played tonight, it might be good for him to sit for one. Although y'all might like him to stay in considering he gave Hall a very nice assist on a goal.

Yes, there were loads of missed calls. LOADS of them on both sides. But the stupid 5 on 3 was due to a Too Many Man penalty and a stupid Miller one. Taylor Hall does not need to be getting the kind of PP opportunities we gave him.

I have no dog in this fight, I really do not care who wins this series, and respect both teams equally and either could beat my Pens if the Pens are lucky enough to advance. I did want NJ to win simply because I want it to be a series so was happy with the result.

That said, the end of that game.

All that I could think of was this.

Devils, what were you thinking?

You won.

You had momentum.

You had TB worried about a real series and having to win the next game.

And you blurred it all in a meaningless stick measuring contest. So damn selfish.

The Pens were exactly that team until Sully reined them in to skate away and focus on what was important. There are lapses at times, especially Malkin, but even he for the most part has bought in. Just skate away and let TB stew on the loss. It might not burn you but I have no clue how it could help. Save the antics for the regular season.
