Most of us are all well aware that he may or may not be worth listening to. I listen, and read because I like to hear most oppinions on the lockout...even the kid posters around here can have reasonable oppinions...it's the childish ones who I dislike listening to.

I believe there are numerous, numerous thought as to how the season/playoffs would work...

Actually, that's the only thing that is redemtive, in my eyes. If he did know it all, then I would have a harder time believing him than I do now.

When someone says "I guess" that comes across, to me, as someone who is, oh... guessing. How about a "based on what I have heard" or "I get the sense that"? Nothing of any detail. In addition, it seems he's getting phone calls or text messages from people on the inside during the negotiations. I find that hard to believe.

I think there are too many variables to figure exactly how a shortened season would work.

Drop Dead Date Coming
My sources say that any moment now Bettman will announce a date that a deal needs to be made by in order to salvage the season. All my sources agree that the date is somewhere around December 10th.

Exactly. He's not giving any substance what so ever. Hell, I was an intern for a MLB team in 2002 and I could have told you more about their near strike that year than this guy is saying.
