San Jose, California (A.P) - Fresh off their first shutout of this young season the Sharks look at their next game as a pivotal inner-state matchup with the "Mighty" Ducks of Anaheim. "The first match-up with the Ducks this season is going to set the tone for the rest of the year, we don't want to come out flat" stated star forward Peter Forsberg.

The Ducks are looking strong this year, players like Amonte, Kapanen and Lindros will look to cause havoc in front of Jose Theodore to throw him off his game. "We have to limit the chances and keep the shots down, players like Ziggy [Palffy] really know how to shoot, so we need to limit them" said Ed Jovanovski who is tied for the league lead in plus/minus with an impressive +8 after 4 games.

Also note for this game that it will be Pavol Demitra's San Jose debut. As expected Demitra will play the right side with Peter Forsberg and Patrick Elias, "I am very excited to get the opportunity to play with two great players in Peter and Patrick, who wouldn't be".

Although it is only the 5th game of the season for the Sharks, with a win they can take leap ahead of these very same Ducks with the two points.

Hopefully Emilio Estevez keeps his Mighty Duck magic out of the Arrowhead pond tomorrow. :D

A shot across the bow! I like it! ;)

If last night's game against St. Louis was any indication, Demitra is in for a sorry introduction to the San Jose fans!!!
