His numbers in the WHL look great, anyone have any information about him?

He played on Everett, who trap.

True, but he was still phenomenal every time I saw him in Portland. First round series between the two was won by Wall (didn't see/hear anything about their second round loss). I'd love to credit Everett's trap for his stats, but its only a partial story.

Damn. Was hoping they'd send him to Regina for a while.

As for Wall, he did play behind a trap team, but, he looked very impressive in Ducks TC from what I heard, so he might be a gooder to have around. I'm starting to like the Ducks' goalie prospects, with Gabe Bouthilette and JP Levasseur also in the mix.

Best input I can provide is, he's got a great name for a goaltender.

  7. Yes, but before Everett, he played in Prince George, who over the last few years have been one of the worst defensive teams in the WHL. The only reason PG traded him to Everett is because they had Todd Ford and Justin Pogge (both Maple Leafs draft picks) battling for position.

This is a nice pickup for Anaheim.
