Coach what do you have say about the way this one went?

You can't really judge this one on the scoreboard alone, or the stats. They had alot of blocked shots, and other than the 2nd period where we had the 2 too many men calls we played a solid 40 minutes, and almost came back before we let up the empty netter late in the 3rd. Great effort all around one bounce and we win this one.

Who do you think gave you the strongest effort tonight?

Magnus lead the forwards in icetime and played a really solid defensive game to keep the Ducks lead to only 2 through the 2nd.

Have you considered maybe attacking during the 2nd when down 2 goals?

Do you even entertain the idea that Thompson is being showcased for the scouts in attendance, in order to generate some interest come TDD?

Also, some coaches respect players who wish to play vs their former team(s), when they come to town.......... and they might know a few things in terms of their PP, that would also benifit the Ottawa PK.

So it's not as simple as "the coach is playing the old plugs instead of the future".

Do you not think DiDominico is also being used, as it was explained by the GM, when he acquired him for nothing, that he helps the AHL team when he's in Belleville, and can be a useful NHL injury replacement that also allows the management to keep a younger player, who is not ready for the NHL, from being brought up and instead gets more minutes (per game) to develop in the AHL?

Understand your point but GB has failed to do that when for exemple Andy started in Boston so...

Nobody in the hockey world thinks Burrows is an upgrade on White at any position in the bottom 6

You can say all you want about Boucher making good line-up decisions with your RELAXED tone but you are in minority

Condon is from Boston exactly thats why I mentionned it

Would be hilarious if he was and the team would be 28th in the league or better

I actually have no problem with Thompson drawing back in. He' splayed pretty well for us. But White should be playing. Scratch Burrows. Sends a message that even vets can get benched. Plus, Burrows is just the kind of player that it might spark for future games. He plays best with a chip on his shoulder.

Bottom line Thompson is fine but White should be in over Burrows or Dido.
