So, back in October, I bought an Asus ROG desktop. It came with 12GB of RAM, Ryzen 5 4600G processor, 8GB Geforce GTX 1660 Super video card and a 512GB NVME SSD. It was performing alright, but the memory would lag at times. I replaced the 12GB today with 32GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM (2X16 GB sticks). Oh.....My.....God..... WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!!!! The RAM upgrade alone has made all the difference in the world. It's night and day. I just wanted to post that.

Good job. I recommend going into the BIOS and ensuring that DOCP is enabled. If it's disabled, then the memory isn't running at its rated speed and you're leaving even more performance on the table.

BTW, there's a stickied thread for PC building and general discussion where we generally talk about this kind of stuff.

You should always have it configured for dual channel anyways but ryzen definitely is more affected by ram then Intel.
