SNOG announcement

Would be nice to score more than 2 goals. Couture really has to get going.

SNOG

Sharks 5 (Couture x2, Pavleski, Kane, Burns)
Wings 3 (Anthanasiu, Mantha, Nyqvist)

Great return to form by one of last season's SNOG co-champs. Congrats on your first SNOG of this season, SJSharksfan39!

I could totally picture Tierney with muttonchops too.

If he had muttonchops and all that, then he'd probably have to have a pipe as well. And probably sub the handlebar stache for one of those ones that swoops down past the mouth and then rides up the jawbone to connect to the muttonchops. I don't even know what it's called.

DeBoer rushes out from the back, shoves Timo onto the ice and demands that Hedi conduct the interview with the real #1 star instead.

It doesn't even look like the same person. I am now convinced that Brodie's in-studio analyst is acutally named Hobo Dave who lives down by the BART station providing hockey post-game analysis for quarters.

Tierney in a contract year....gotta be selfish with those empty netters!

He's low key been bit by the Vegas bug. For all the guys that deserve more goals (Hertl, Meier, Burns, Kane), Tierney has been incredibly lucky on a lot of goals this year. There's no way in hell he deserves to have only 1 less goal than Timo, or 2 more than Hertl, or 4 more than Donskoi, or 7 more than Burns.

Meier on TV postgame interview:

- it's a huge win in this game tonight, if we look at the standing [sic] it's very close, every game really matters for us, and now we prepare for the next on to keep rollin'
- [on his goal] it was a great play on the power play there, Boedker took the middle, made a shot on net, I was lucky enough to get a tip on it and put it right in the back of the net
- [on his confidence] I think confidence is here for sure but at the same time you wanna work hard and help the team win every night, it's been a fun time, we have a great group of guys so I really enjoy coming to the rink every day and playing hard

Tierney on radio postgame interview:

- [on the win/homestand] it was good, we knew we wanted to finish off with a win here, and their team that's playing for next year probably, they're kinda loose and don't mind trading rushes so we wanna make sure we're working well defensively and trying to capitalize on our chances
- [thoughts on all 4 lines contributing?] it's been great, I think we added a lot of depth at the deadline, getting Kaner made us deeper but also Fehrsy slots in really well on the 4th line, we're comfortable putting out 4 lines against any of their lines, that's a great luxury to have, roll 4 and stay fresh for us
- [on Fehr] he's a great PKer, he's a big body with a long stick, he's really good on the faceoff, really strong in the D zone for us, he's got skill and poise to chip in offensively, it's great to have him
- [on getting closer to 20 goals this season] I hoped, that's kinda the goal going into the season, to get as close as I can to that, still got 3 to go and just doing what I can to help the team at this point

Tierney has been fairly consistent this year. He's vultured quite a few empty netters, but he hasn't had a ton of prolonged pointless streaks.

So do we think Pavelski has a lip in during the postgame? I remember somebody mentioned a while back that he definitely did, it looks kinda like he does but I can't tell

My eyes have not been looking at the screen when Hedican's been on so I haven't seen his eye horror. Anybody got a screencap?
