Ducks offseason
Every level I've played at prohibits fighting. If you get into it, you get suspended for a game. But once in a while you can't help it and just go. The refs won't step in until it's over and thats that.
One game I had been playing in was getting really chippy. The UC Irvine forward had been making runs at me all game, usually resulting in my defencemen jumping on him, with me on the bottom. Well, we were well ahead, 7-1 I think, and makes another run at me. I had it with his runs so I got out of the way and tripped him. He comes back at me swinging. I lay into him a little bit and before you know it all of my teammates on the ice attacked him. As I skated back to my net, I hear someone from our bench yells "LOOK OUT!" I turn around and their goalie has skated up the length of the ice to come after me. Next thing that happened was he and I got into it. And boy did he ever beat me. Just a few seconds into it too. At least the benches and the crowd (all 20 of them) loved it.
