How long before a team has to sign players. I know European playrers are different from North American but are players playing in the OHL different from NCAA players... Soemthing i have wondered for a while. Any help would be great thank you in advance.

For players drafted this summer, players drafted out of the CHL or Euro leagues, teams have 2 years to sign them or they reenter the draft (June 1st). NCAA you have until the summer after they finish school. (August 15th)
