Why does Burke always seem like he wants to kick someone's ass?

But with every Pens fan claiming the Pens are one of the most popular franchises in the league, one would think they could sustain such a payroll without losing any money, no?
Never heard that claim.

the Ducks scouts loved Ryan, not a surprise at all. Great pick.

I just like how Burke thinks he should lecture the guy on what a GM is supposed to do. Man, Burke seems like such an *******. He's always seemed like an *******, though...

Scratch that...the podium has more personality than Bettman AND Crosby.

Ease up on the 17 y.o. kid. He's been bombarded with attention since he was 10 and has painfully learned the dangers of a too-strong quote that gets blown out of proportion. The kid is all right.

That said, he is also advised to widen his endorsement potential by offending nobody and that will also keep his comments somewhat white bread-y.

Not to pick by positional needs? Best player avaliable? Sounds like the Ducks are an expansion team

I don't care who you are, you draft the BPA. It's unlikely any kid is going to be an impact player anytime soon, and who knows what your needs will be 4, 5, or 6 years down the road.
