I was at an overtime marathon game for us vs Chicago back in 2015 in which we lost (game 1). It was very strange. That game was an 8:30 start time so it went insanely late (like 1:30 or 2 if I remember correctly). People were literally sleeping in their seats during intermissions lol.

Being on the west coast, I love it when teams in the east go deep because it doesn't affect my sleep schedule. It's also less stressful since my team isn't involved. Being at the games, though, on a work night is tough. Getting home at 1 or 2, then getting up for work a few hours later... it's even worse when you lose.

If I'm emotionally vested yes, but if the Caps are then no. Then I could miss my train home.

It seems if a game doesn't end in the first few minuets then your in for a very long one.
The longer it goes the better a 4th liner will score the game winner with freah legs.

Yes, although it can be tough if it's your own team. I almost prefer it if it's teams I don't have much of an investment in.
