The problem is they are extremely thin without embiid and harden. and one of them may be bolting to go to houston.

The Process was never finished the way it was intended to and died the day the Colangelos were sent in like the gestapo. I hate that joke/narrative.

The "process" was about acquiring high-value assets that could be used to build a contending team. It was the right thing to do and it worked. There are no guarantees and the Sixers had some bad luck (Fultz, Embiid's injuries), some bad decisions (making Simmons a PG, trading Mikal Bridges) and some bad bounces (Kawhi).

The situation now isn't encouraging but they have two excellent players in Embiid and Maxey. Obviously what happens with Harden is going to have a big impact on what happens going forward. Doc isn't horrible but moving on from him was definitely the right thing to do.
