I have googled my name couple of times and I'm not someone important or have hours of sparetime while flying to another city. I think over 70 % have had a random visit to his site and at leats quarter visit this site regularly.

Ok. Cool. So as a player, would the tone of a message board effect you in any way? Impact a signing decision? Or is that too much of a reach?

They absolutely do look at hfboards

I can't see what or how a partiparticular fanbase talks or discusses having much impact however. Unless of course it gets them thinking more, which is never a bad thing
