Not a political thread, but one based out of curiosity.
I've never been to, or met anyone, from Spain. But going through numerous comment sections and boards I've noticed that the times someone from Spain says something about Canadians, it's always negative. They never actually say why they speak ill of Canadians, they just make their crude comment and run off. So idk if it's due to personal experience or politics.
A couple of my peers, both of which have met Spaniards both in Canada and in Spain say that's its just me. And I know using internet comments is a silly way to get that impression, but it still makes me curious considering that it's nearly 100% of the comments made. And its such a random country to have a seemingly immense distaste for us I just can't help but ask.
