He'll definitely be taking a pay cut wherever he signs. Even though he's not particularly old, nobody is paying a near $8M cap hit for a guy who may score 25 goals IF he stays healthy. I think it's a really tough call putting a cap value on what he's worth as a UFA.
Meh, we should all be Rick Nash fans anyway. He cost them Dubinsky, Anisimov, and a 1st Round pick, and I'd probably rather have Anisimov on my team than Rick Nash at this point at $3.3M less per year.
This. This. This. When they had Hank, Dubinsky, Callahan, and what seemed like a good set of young Dmen, I was honestly worried that they would win a cup. The day they traded Dubinsky, I kinda knew that was a step in the wrong direction.
