Prospect Info: Detroit Red Wings Prospect Thread 2017-18 I

I'd like to see Ras with some more goals, but I have very little concerns with his scoring ability translating to the next level.

I wanted to see improvement with his playmaking. So far his assists/game are a bit up, and I think he already has more ES primary assists than he had all last year. Or close to it.

Hopefully he can finish closer to ~1 APG, I'd be pretty happy with that.

Considering neither Rasmussen or Cholowski are really elite offensive prospects, those numbers don't sound realistic... Might want to take a look at past seasons to see what others have achieved, not many guys it those ppg ranges.

In D+1 and D+2 destroying junior leagues isn't really a sign of elite potential.

Rasmussen had a nice screen on Valimaki's goal.

Juuso Valimaki used a perfect screen from Michael Rasmussen to snipe the go-ahead goal and give the Americans a 2-1 lead.

His shot off the crossbar was pretty wicked. He has an underappreciated shot, but that one from the top of the slot was ridiculous.

FWIW Tri-Cites sucks and is very difficult to watch at times.

I listened to the game last night. TC took 4 penalties on pretty cheesy calls according to the announcer when Raz took a misconduct. No one knew what he said but I too would like to know what he said

I just like sulak because of his flow. Not enough of that in the league these days. Well know what happened to DK after he clipped his flow. As much as I like Z's glorious beard, I wouldn't mind him shaving it and then growing out his hair to make him feel younger, just as he looked when he entered the league

I think Sulak will need a good amount of time to get used to the small rink once he comes over, and that's why he didn't look very good this summer.

We'll see, at least he's got a massive role with Pelicans this season.

Perry also had 27 saves in an OT loss to Niagara last night.

Kotkansalo doesn’t have any pts for BU so far, but being a regular on that blue line is kind of an accomplishment in it of itself.

He's only played 3 games, but yes 1G 4A. 16 shots or shots on goal too (not sure which they track) and now getting 25+ minutes a night ice time.

Take it what it is, but the rink at Lahti is the smallest in Finland.

28 x 58 meters.

NHL rink is 26 x 61 meters. Lahti rink is shorter but wider.
