Is there any manual for organization management?
I mean, what exactly is General manager doing? Or Assistant General manager?
I looked to Boston Bruins Hockey Operation department and found this positions:

GENERAL MANAGER
ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF PLAYER PERSONNEL, GENERAL MANGER OF THE PROVIDENCE BRUINS
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR
DIRECTOR OF LEGAL AFFAIRS FOR HOCKEY OPERATIONS
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF AMATEUR SCOUTING
DIRECTOR OF HOCKEY OPERATIONS/ANALYTICS
DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATION
HOCKEY OPERATIONS ASSISTANT
TEAM TRAVEL & SERVICES COORDINATOR

Can somebody describe it? Or write a link, who is that defined.

GENERAL MANAGER -- self explanatory
ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER -- see above
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF PLAYER PERSONNEL, GENERAL MANGER OF THE PROVIDENCE BRUINS - in some organizations the assistant GM is also the GM of their AHL team, but in this case its a separate position. This person is also like an assistant GM
PLAYER DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR -- head of player development
DIRECTOR OF LEGAL AFFAIRS FOR HOCKEY OPERATIONS -- like a general counsel, takes care of any legal matters regarding hockey ops.
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF AMATEUR SCOUTING - like the assistant GM for scouting, they delegate duties to the teams scouts and tell them where to go and who to look at.
DIRECTOR OF HOCKEY OPERATIONS/ANALYTICS - some teams have a President of Hockey Ops who oversees everything, this is similar but they don't have more power than the GM, analytics was likely added to their title somewhat recently and they also oversee that department.
DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATION -- deals with the administration of the entire club, everything from hiring people to making sure things run smoothly. Likely not really involved in hockey ops.
HOCKEY OPERATIONS ASSISTANT - assists everyone in hockey ops, from the GM to the head scout. Like a gopher (entertainment industry) almost.
TEAM TRAVEL & SERVICES COORDINATOR -- the person who spearheads the travel department. This department organizes all flights, hotels, bookings etc for the team. They coordinate it for everyone from the stars, to the AHL call ups to the guy you just claimed off waivers.

George Costanza was an assistant to the traveling secretary of the Yankees for a while.

GM - Owner’s lackey and who he blames for bad seasons
Assistant GM - GM’s secretary
Director of Scouting - the guy that the GM ignores at the Draft
Scouts - the people that are blamed for bad picks and trades
Analytics - the guys in the office that love Star Trek
Owner - the guy that writes the paychecks and is always right

Every organization does it differently and may have slightly different task/assignment than other organizations.

Some teams have hockey operations under the general manager's perview; others have a separate hockey ops head and the GM just has to concentrate on the player stuff.

See also the hockey jobs thread. Over the years there have been a number of articles that look at responsibilities/day-in-the-life type stuff.

Code:
Try in google search: site:nhl.com nhl front office

You will get links to front offices of every team. Some will only have position + names while others have further links to indiviudal bios and sometimes short/high level description of duties.
