Think maybe Detroit could get a 2nd rounder for McGrath? I won't be distressed if they don't sign him but Holland better get something in return and not lose him for nothing.
Not quite sure why they'd decide to not sign Haskins. I guess they already have Ellis and Oulahen in the system but it's not clear either of them will ever be NHL players.
No way Detroit gets a second for McGrath.
The team would have to cave to his demands so he doesn't re-enter, that lowers his value dramatically, plus McGrath is no first rounder, so a team willing to sacrafice a second on him would be best served to wait until draft day. That way Evan McGrath would have to cave to the team that re-drafts him, if he has any intentions of playing pro hockey in NA as a 20 year old.
I would be happy with a 4th or 5th rounder. (although a trade is unlikely)
Haskins, hopefully they sign him, my only point there was that he might be better served returning to junior rather than playing in the ECHL.
