Torres, 17 was the Knights 6th Round Selection at the 2002 Ontario Hockey League Draft. Torres stands 6'3 and weighs 230 pounds and was in his 2nd season with the Markham Waxers this season. He had 10 goals and 11 Assists in 24 games before signing with the Knights.

Torres attended the last 2 London Knights Training Camps and made his OHL Regular Season debut November 28.

FYI - Daniel's older brother is Raffi (I wasn't 100% sure of this, but I checked it out on the Lodon Knights web site and it's true)

Torres hasn't impressed me so far. When I heard we'd got him I remember thinking "Wow, I hope he's like Raffi Jr" but he's nothing special from what I've seen. Hopefully the Knights' conditioning squad can knock some of the weight off him.

Well Torres hasn't really gotten a lot of ice time to show what he may be capable of(4 or 5 shifts a game it seems).... but I do agree, he hasn't shown anything with what little time he has gotten.

I heard he likes to play with the gloves off, but Torres hasn't gotten into any fights since actually signing with the Knights.(Did have one or two scraps during pre-season)
